Edita Kuncevičienė
Edita Kuncevičienė, PhD in Natural Sciences. She works as a researcher at the Institute of Neurosciences, in the Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory, and as a lecturer at the Institute of Biological Systems and Genetic Research at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
Edita Kuncevičienė's research focuses on identifying molecular markers in patients with demyelinating pathologies, such as multiple sclerosis and chronic inflammatory polyneuropathy. She has led three national projects related to the search for circulating molecular markers in the blood of patients with various pathologies.
She has published 7 original articles related to research on gene polymorphisms, telomere length, and circulating microRNA studies in the context of eye disease research.
