Ivars Ījabs

Ivars Ijabs is a Member of the European Parliament, Doctor of Political Science, Associate Professor at the University of Latvia, author of numerous academic articles, books and also a publicist. In the European Parliament, Ivars Ijabs pays special attention to the processes of promoting science and innovation. Working in the European Parliament's Group on the Future of Science and Technology, Ijabs promotes the opportunities of Latvian scientists in the European environment, as well as a fairer distribution of EU research and innovation grants for the benefit of Latvia.
