Dr. Laura Malinauskienė is a distinguished allergist and clinical immunologist with over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating allergic and immune diseases. Since 2002, she has been practicing at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics and the Allergy Center of the University Antakalnis Hospital.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Laura Malinauskienė has been an academic faculty member at Vilnius University’s Faculty of Medicine since 2006. She earned her PhD from Lund University (Sweden) in 2012 and was appointed professor in 2019. She actively engages in medical education, delivering lectures, conducting practical training for medical students and physicians, and supervising residents and PhD candidates in allergology and clinical immunology. A prolific researcher, she has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and has been a speaker and organizer of national and international conferences and seminars.

Dr. Laura Malinauskienė currently serves as the President of the Lithuanian Society of Allergologists and Clinical Immunologists. She is also a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID).

She continuously enhances her expertise by participating in international training courses and conferences organized by institutions such as the Nordic Institute for Advanced Training in Occupational Health (NIVA), EAACI, the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM), the European Society of Contact Dermatitis (ESCD), and ESID. She has also completed internships at KU Leuven (Belgium) and Lund University’s Skåne University Hospital.

Her main research interests include contact allergy, prevalence and emerging allergens, and rare allergic and immune diseases, such as hereditary angioedema and mastocytosis.
