Didzis Kļaviņš

Dr. Didzis Kļaviņš is a Senior Researcher at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Advanced Social and Political Research Institute. He is currently working on a research project titled “Urban Preparedness for Emerging Risks in the Baltic Sea Region.” Didzis earned his PhD in International Politics from the University of Latvia and holds a Europaeum MA in European History and Civilisation, a program jointly offered by Leiden University, Université Paris I — Panthéon-Sorbonne, and the University of Oxford. He has also studied at Uppsala University, the University of Oslo, and the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. His research interests include diplomacy, crisis preparedness, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Didzis is the author of over 20 publications.
