Oxygen Consumption and Utilization in Elite Sports
The lecture will explore the oxygen transport pathway, tracing its journey from the pulmonary system through the heart, blood, and skeletal muscles, to the mitochondria. It will address both the potential and the limitations of enhancing V̇O2max through physical training.
